  1. Core reading list 15 items
    The purpose of this reading list is to give you a choice of books. This module requires you to read only one book a week, on which you will be tested weekly. You are strongly encouraged to read more as this will provide you with a deeper and broader understanding of fiction and how to write it. The titles of each week aren’t strictly genres, but rather they are markers to give you an indication of what distinguishes the books. In reality, fiction defies easy categorisation and slips between genres and themes. The point is to show you the range of fiction that we’ll explore. (It doesn’t matter what edition of the books you read.)
